In the leadership of Elon Musk, Twitter has officially announced Blue for Business. It’s a subscription for companies or brands that want to verify or differentiate themselves on Twitter.
According to the statement released by Twitter, the service will let a company link its affiliated individuals, businesses, and brands to its account.
The company is testing this service with some selected groups of businesses,” including its brands, and employees. Affiliated accounts will get a small badge of their parent company’s profile picture next to their blue or gold checkmark, the statement read.

By creating this relation, we are making it possible for businesses to network within their organizations on Twitter, the statement further read.
Businesses can associate their leadership, brand, support handles, employees, or teams with this service. The company said journalists, sports team players, or movie characters could all be affiliated.
Based on the list provided by the parent business, each affiliate will be verified and officially linked to its parent handle. We’ll share any new criteria, pricing, or procedures as we update them.
On Tuesday last week, Twitter’s updated account verification program finally launched. Earlier every account used to have a blue tick now there is a development in which some accounts have become gold.
