Musk is one of several corporate titans who have openly criticized Biden and his administration. “I have no plans to create a super PAC,” Musk told CNBC when asked whether he intended to launch his presidential campaign to unseat Biden.
When asked about intentions for the November midterm elections, he said, “No super PAC anything going on,” However, Musk did not reply to CNBC’s follow-up inquiries on whether he intends to give or advocate for any candidates or causes in the 2018 elections, particularly whether he intends to donate directly to a Republican candidate’s presidential campaign.
Musk has become a symbol of everything from immigrant brilliance to income inequity as his enterprises have flourished. His most recent political posturing has presented him in a new light. Bureaucrats at regulatory agencies may view his probes as political attacks.

She identified herself as an “angry mom” wanting to defend Elon Musk in a tweet in which she stated she had met “top media people” who said they adored him.
Mr Musk has been talking with his mother on Twitter regularly, including a message in which she scolded him for saying he may die in “mysterious circumstances” after a disagreement with the director of Russia’s space agency.
And she defended him after a rumour claimed that his team had requested a date with Sky Ferreira at the Met Gala, which both mother and son attended. Musk replied with a tweet on Thursday, stating that the anger that greeted his party-switch post was confirmation that his move was “spot on.”
Musk has been an outspoken opponent of the Biden administration and Democrats’ ideas to tax billionaires and increases tax breaks for union-made electric autos. Tesla’s plants in the United States are not unionised.
Tesla, which counts California as its largest market in the United States, relocated its headquarters from California to more politically conservative Texas last year. Musk relocated his residence from California to Texas, which does not have a state income tax.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk was quick to point out the snub and moved to Twitter to claim that his company had done far more for American manufacturing than its competitors.
“Tesla has created over 50,000 US jobs building electric vehicles & is investing more than double GM + Ford combined,” Musk tweeted in response to a tweet from President Biden’s account.
Musk wanting Biden’s attention is nothing new. Tesla has been irritated by the Biden administration’s negligence for months. Musk claimed in August that the administration was “not the friendliest” after Tesla was uninvited from a White House meeting with automakers.
Then, in January, Musk protested that his company was omitted from an official White House film promoting electric vehicles and featuring GM CEO Mary Barra. “Biden has pointedly ignored Tesla at every turn and falsely stated to the public that GM leads the electric car industry,” Musk said on CNBC last week.
“Tesla produced over 300,000 electric vehicles last quarter, and GM produced 26.” Musk’s complaints, though, are not without weight. According to Bloomberg, Tesla’s Fremont, California, the factory is the most productive automotive plant in North America, manufacturing an average of 8,550 vehicles each week.
Tesla is to increase manufacturing in the United States and internationally this year, as the company constructs a new facility in Texas, another in Berlin, and extends its existing facilities in Shanghai.
However, the White House is allegedly wary of cooperating with Tesla due to the company’s non-unionized employees and allegations that Tesla intentionally discouraged union activity.
A California regulator also sued Tesla for racial discrimination last month, accusing the automaker of having a “racially segregated workplace.”
Tesla described the case as “misguided.” Nonetheless, Biden’s cold shoulder toward Tesla proved too much for Musk’s supporters to take in January, when a group of supporters created an online petition to encourage Biden to “acknowledge Tesla’s leadership in electric vehicles.”

Tesla has moved its headquarters from Palo Alto, California, to Austin, Texas, and the electric vehicle manufacturer is rapidly increasing its manufacturing capacity in the Golden State. Musk, who said last year that he will relocate to Texas from California, provided no date for the relocation when addressing shareholders at Tesla’s annual meeting.
Musk fought with San Francisco Bay Area health officials seeking to implement shelter-in-place orders in the early days of the coronavirus outbreak. He threatened to move Tesla’s operations to Texas or Nevada at the time.
Musk, on the other hand, mentioned the high cost of housing in the Bay Area as making it difficult for many individuals to become homeowners, resulting in long commutes.
